Nikko has been accepted to the Faculty of Law of the University of Alberta.
This in itself is an achievement as only 175 out of 1,163 applicants from
all over Canada are being accepted to Class 2011.
Established in 1912, the University of Alberta Faculty of Law is the oldest
law school in Western Canada. A full performance law school, it is one of
the top four in the country, accepting only outstanding students and
producing high quality legal graduates. The current Chief Justice of
Canada’s Supreme Court is a graduate of the school.
Nikko was also accepted to the law faculty in Windsor University in Ontario
and this year was again offered a scholarship at York University in Ontario
for a masters in political science. Currently working in a law firm in
downtown Edmonton, Nikko will resign in August to devote full time to her
three-year academic pursuit followed by one year of articling in a law firm
or the legal system.
Let’s congratulate Nikko and wish her all the best!
